Beyond excited to share that my maps are featured in the cover story of the August 2025 issue of Sanctuary Asia!

"The Third Pole", a powerful piece written by multiple conservationists, environmental researchers and journalists (Munib Khanyari, Tempa Gyaltsen Zamlha, Mayak Kohli, Manshi Asher, Parineeta Dandekar, Shailendra Yashwant) sheds light on climate change and its effects on Himalayan ecosystems. From biodiversity loss, water scarcity, and livelihood insecurity, to cultural erosion, climate-exacerbated hazards, and geopolitical tensions—the article dives deep into the layered challenges facing the region.

It also highlights the path forward: regional collaboration, interdisciplinary research, working with traditional knowledge and empowering local communities to shape resilient, inclusive, and ecologically sound policy.
